2026 North Central Labour Council Summer School

Exciting labour education is coming to the North! Brought to you by the North Central Labour Council and Canadian Labour Congress, quality union-driven education for northern workers will be delivered locally in Prince George, BC June 1 to 5, 2026.
Labour education builds solidarity and knowledge. It teaches the skills unions need to represent their members and defend their rights using proven methods that allow workers of all backgrounds to learn. If your union wants to train the next generation of local activists or expand the skills that today’s leaders and activists already have, the North Central Labour Council Summer School 2026 is here to help your union succeed.
This school is a new endeavour in the North in collaboration with the CLC Pacific Region–experienced in offering the very best in labour education across Canada.
The school begins Monday evening, June 1, 2026 and classes will run Tuesday – Friday. Participants will collectively study one of four courses over the four days:
- Facing Management Effectively
- Women In Leadership
- Steward Training Level 1
- BCFED Basics of Organizing

The deadline for registration is Friday, May 15, 2025.
The registration fee is $485. It includes a welcome reception on Monday evening, a four-day course, lunch, and course materials. The fee does not include travel or hotel accommodations.
If you’re registering multiple people by credit card, you’ll need to complete a separate transaction for each student.
A special rate of $117 per night (plus taxes and fees) based on single or double occupancy, is being offered to Summer School participants. Attendees will use the group code “NCLC Summer School 2026” to identify they are with the school. The last day to book a room at the special rate is Friday May 1, 2026. A cancellation fee of $100 will apply if you cancel in writing before May 15. No refunds after May 15.
